armour
head: storm crow
Storm Crow has some interesting stuff on it for Critical Mass Wizards. First off we grab 90-100 guaranteed intelligence and vitality which is minimal but its nice especially when we are getting both life on hit and arcane power on crit from this one helmet. We need to have 4.5% plus criticial hit chance rolled on this helmet plus additional intelligence or a socket to make this best in slot for us.

shoulders: vile ward
Vile Ward, again, takes the cake on this best in slot list. This slot allows us an opportunity to pump up stats and defenses so grab a vile ward with additional stat rolls on it. These guys come with 71+ resistances and good armor so you just need to get one with as high of intelligence and/or vitality as possible.

torso: zunimassa's morrow
Tal Rasha's set bonus now only applies to skills not overall damage and thus is not going to do us any good. The attack speed increase on Tal Rasha's is nice so if you have it then its still a very valid piece for this slot but Zuni's adds a little more durability and also completes the two item bonus for that set for an additional 130 intelligence. Thanks again Jeff for pointing out my error

wrists: lacuni prowlers
These represent another item we can grab that gives us attack speed from a slot that normally doesn't roll it. We also grab some additional movement speed that helps us farm more efficiently. We need these guys to roll critical hit chance, intelligence and a defensive trait (vitality, resists or armor) in order to be best in slot.

hands: immortal king's Irons
Our most important stat is critical hit chance and these gloves come with at least 9%. They also count towards our two piece set bonus for IK and gives us 60 all resist. We get some built in strength, life regeneration and damage reduction. We would hopefully get some attack speed and critical damage on our random property rolls but we would prefer attack speed over critical damage.

waist: the witching hour
This item beats out the potential bonus of Tal Rasha's Belt due to 8% attack speed and 35% critical damage out weighing the measly 1% crit chance and 3% damage bonus (set bonus) we get from Tal's belt. Grab a Witching hour with 170+ intelligence and some nice defensive traits and you've got a solid belt for your nephalem.
